There’s nothing like the magic of a Sunday in New Orleans

About the experience:

There’s nothing quite like the feeling of gathering around the table on a Sunday afternoon, the scent of a home-cooked meal filling the air, and the warmth of loved ones sharing laughter and stories. SUNdays at Reconcile brings that very spirit to life, as we celebrate 25 years of Reconcile New Orleans' transformative workforce training program.

Inspired by the laid-back, inviting nature of New Orleans' Sunday family lunches, SUNdays at Reconcile is a dining experience that’s all about connection—community, conversation, and culture. Picture yourself seated at a communal table with friends, new and old, passing dishes of locally-inspired, family-style meals, each bite crafted with care and love.

More Than a Meal

This isn't just any Sunday lunch—it's a chance to make a lasting impact. Every meal served at SUNdays at Reconcile directly supports the next generation of talent in New Orleans. Through Reconcile’s workforce training program, young people gain the skills and experience they need to thrive in the culinary and hospitality industries. As you pass the plates, you’re also passing along opportunities for local youth to grow, learn, and build a brighter future.

What to Expect:

What to Expect: Enjoy a family-style, fixed-menu lunch inspired by seasonal flavors. Guests dine at communal tables for connection and conversation. Water, wine, and iced tea are served by the carafe. After your meal, our Lounge has dessert bites from a local culinary partner, live music, and cocktails. The Lounge opens at 12:30 PM and stays open until 5:30 PM. Meal service runs from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with rolling seating every 30 minutes. Plan for approximately 90 minutes of table time.

The Details:

  • Date: Sundays June 22, July 27, or August 24

  • Price: $80 per guest | Includes full dining experience (family-style menu, wine, iced tea) and dessert in the courtyard; price does not include donation to Reconcile, and additional cocktails

  • Reservations: Guests purchasing fewer than six tickets will be seated at a communal table. If you prefer a private table, you may reserve a full table for six or eight guests—please note that you will be responsible for filling all seats at your reserved table.

  • A Note for Families: SUNdays at Reconcile is a family-friendly experience, best suited for ages 4 and up. Children who take a seat at the table will require a ticket, and we are unable to offer meal or beverage substitutions.
