Celebrating Our Summer 2026 Graduates!
This June, Reconcile celebrated an important milestone as 14 young people completed workforce training and graduated from our Summer 2026 cohort. Graduation marks more than the completion of a program. It represents months of learning, growth, career exploration, and preparation for what comes next.
Throughout their training journey, graduates built workplace skills, explored career pathways, and gained hands-on experience through work-based learning. As they transition into employment, education, and new opportunities, they carry with them the confidence and experience gained through their time at Reconcile.
A few graduates are already taking exciting next steps:
Tamica is working as a host at Lil Dizzy's Café, continuing to build her hospitality and customer service skills.
Sy'Juan has secured full-time employment with Walmart, putting his workplace training into practice.
Howard transitioned from an Externship with Reconcile Employment Partner Friends of Codey's into employment, continuing to pursue opportunities in the culinary field.
Graduation also allowed us to welcome back Daniel Hall, a 2023 Reconcile graduate, as guest speaker. Daniel shared his journey from Reconcile into the workforce and reflected on how the program helped him build confidence and recognize that his past did not have to define his future. Today, Daniel works in warehouse management and is pursuing advancement opportunities. He’s building the independent life he envisioned for himself. His message to graduates was simple and powerful: every setback is an opportunity to learn, grow, and keep moving forward.
This celebration reflected the hard work of our graduates and the community of supporters, staff, Employment Partners, families, and friends who helped them along the way. We are proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to seeing where their journeys lead next.
