Alumni Summit 2025:

Building Skills, Strengthening Connections, and Celebrating Growth

Reconcile’s 3rd Annual Alumni Summit brought together graduates, partners, and community leaders for a day focused on growth, leadership, and connection. Planned and executed by the Alumni Advisory Council (AAC), this year’s Summit reflected their vision—from the theme and content to the thoughtful Q+A discussions that kept everyone engaged.

The event opened with a warm welcome from AAC Vice Chair Keenan Jordan and Secretary Precious Lastraps, who shared powerful reflections on community, perseverance, and the strength of staying connected. Watch their opening remarks here.

Throughout the day, Alumni connected with a diverse slate of guest speakers and community partners, including Patrick Kelly (Autosmart Detailing), Axel Oestreicher (Axelo Realty), Tanyanika Franklin (Daughters of Incarcerated), Matilda Tennessee (Limitless Vistas), Ashley Butler (Training Grounds), Kim Tubre (STRIVE NOLA), Jade George (Children’s Bureau NOLA), Marcia Gaspard (For Providers by Providers), Brittany Harrison (NOPD Victim Witness Assistance Unit), Ashley Flot (New Orleans Youth Alliance), Sarah McReynolds (Southern Smoke Foundation), Gabriella Cottom (Tulane Community Health Center), and Ellenor Simmons (United Way SELA).

Each conversation offered fresh perspectives on professional growth, wellness, and leadership, highlighting the many pathways open to young people when they are supported and connected. The day was a reminder that Reconcile’s network extends far beyond graduation. It’s a lifelong community where Alumni continue to grow, discover, and give back to the city they call home.
