Reconcile New Orleans Receives W.K. Kellogg Foundation Grant
Reconcile New Orleans has received a $225,000 grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. The 18-month grant supports the organization’s launch of a new 3-year strategic plan expanding its workforce Development Program supporting career exploration and job readiness opportunities for young people aged 16-24.
The program is being funded through Kellogg’s initiative to help families achieve economic security by earning and saving more and combating the cycle of multi-generational poverty. The aim of the competitive initiative supports strategies to increase opportunities for work and learning, improve access to financial services and reduce class-, gender- and race-based disparities.
