NEW YORK TIMES 2023 RESTAURANT LIST

The New York Times came out with their 2023 “The Restaurant List” and Café Reconcile is so proud to be among the 50 restaurants featured, along with another New Orleans favorite, MaMou.

On any given day, you’ll find dining in our Café a veritable gumbo of the many perspectives shaping our city. Our modern yet authentic take on New Orleans classics is our way of creating a gathering place where any guest can feel at home.

Most importantly, this recognition celebrates the Café’s most essential ingredient, the young people training in Café Reconcile’s non-profit workforce development program. When you enjoy a meal, you become an active participant in this work, with 100% of all restaurant profits directly funding our Interns’ training experience. Whether they choose to continue a career in hospitality—or to leverage their newfound skills in pursuit of other professional ambitions—we take great pride in supporting New Orleans’ made, next-generation talent.

Congratulations to Chief Culinary Officer Chef Martha Wiggins and our team of hospitality professionals who work side-by-side training Interns daily. Because of you, there’s more soul to Café Reconcile than just the dishes on our menu.
