Did you know April is National Internship Awareness Month? Let’s check out what makes Reconcile’s Workforce Training Program unique in our community. First, we are a comprehensive 16-month training experience. The Intern journey begins with a 14-week in person program, offering paid, hands-on learning experiences. Reconcile’s commitment to raising awareness around the importance and value of internships ensures Interns actively tackle barriers to employment or further education while acquiring valuable industry credentials, exploring a variety of career and educational paths, and gaining on-the-job training experiences.
Through your support, Reconcile provides access to a diverse range of post-internship opportunities, supporting each individual as they navigates their career journey. This includes guidance in pursuing further certifications in high-demand industries and exploring educational avenues and professional pathways beyond the hospitality sector, opening doors to a broad spectrum of career options.
The alignment of personal interests and skill sets is vital in guiding Interns toward a successful and fulfilling future. Our ongoing support model includes maintaining regular contact and providing continued assistance and resources for a year following program completion. The goal? Ensuring that every participant is well-equipped to thrive in their chosen pathway and personal life journey. This sustained engagement underscores our dedication to the long-term success and well-being of the young adults we serve, especially during National Internship Awareness Month when the spotlight is on the critical role internships play in shaping the workforce of tomorrow.
